IMPORTANT UPDATE: Changes to BVD Testing Effective January 1st 2025
There have been some key changes to Neogen’s Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) testing, also known as Pesti Testing.
Moving forward, Neogen will only be accepting TSU samples for BVD testing from January 1st 2025. Hair samples for BVD testing will no longer be able accepted for this testing.
BVD testing must be ordered in conjunction with another DNA test, as Neogen does not offer standalone BVD testing.
Should you require standalone BVD testing, please contact your local vet.
In addition to this, due to rising operational costs, Neogen are no longer be able to offer free confirmation testing for positive or weak positive results.
Retesting of a new confirmatory sample will be charged at the same price as a standard BVD test from January 1st 2025.
