It has been a busy yet productive few months with plenty of high-quality bulls on offer nationwide. Despite the challenges in farming and declining lamb returns, farmers still recognize the value of investing in good genetics and continued to seek quality bulls across all breeds, resulting in strong buyer capacity throughout the country this year. We observed lower averages at the start of the season but was soon followed by record-breaking prices towards the end with Tangihau Angus. Tangihau achieved not only the top price of $135,000 but also set a new record for the day’s average price for an on-farm sale in NZ at $21,560.

The PBB team always enjoys visiting farms and spending the day with our clients. Ella, Trudy, Pivot Design and other members of the PBB team were able to capture a few pictures from their bull sale adventures across both the North and South Islands.
